Baby the Cat and Pal Sophie the Puppy

Best of pals.
We got our puppy, Sophie, at age 9 weeks. A couple of weeks later, without warning, we got our first cat, when my stepdaughter brought home a kitten. She told us it was a stray, but we later found out that a friend gave it to her.
The puppy and the kitten are about the same age, and are best friends -- and we are now confirmed cat lovers.
