Be Be's Story

by Jeannette
(Pelham, N.Y., U.S.)

BeBe came into my life by accident. Her previous owners had put her out because she got pregnant. They took her litter and left her out on the street.

One evening she appeared at my doorstep and I fell in love. I fed her daily until one day she invited herself in and that was the beginning.

She did not realize that once she was in - I did not want her to go out. She found a way - right through my window screen - luckily I lived on the first floor. She escaped, had her "fun" and returned. I forgave her and she had a surprise for me about 2 months later - Kricket and Fella. No Regrets!!!

BeBe is the happiest cat I know - she loves being indoors with her babies. I wouldn't have it any other way!!

She now has someone who cares.

Hi Jeannette,

Well some people! What kind of thing is that to do? Throw your cat out because she gets pregnant, it's not like they could have had her spayed or anything!

Thank goodness that BeBe found her way to your doorstep, she now has someone who cares. (perhaps she did know that once she was in, she was in ;0) )

BeBe sounds a great cat and her kitties too. Thank you very much for sharing your story with us Jeannette.
