Is it safe to order goods on the Internet? Yes. In my experience you are no more likely to get ripped off online than you are in the off line world. Of course bad guys do exist on the Internet, as they do everywhere, and it pays to be careful. You should ensure that any time you place an order using your credit card, the merchant is using secure servers. All of the merchants promoted on Best-Cat-Art.com are top notch established online companies, and use secure servers to process transactions, which means that you can order with confidence. Should you encounter any problem, unlikely but things can go haywire sometimes even with the best of merchants, then contact the merchant in the first instance. If you do not get a satisfactory response, then please do contact me (details above) and I will do all that I can to help you. There is a maxim that says don't sell anything unless you own or use it yourself. I agree with that and do not recommend products or services that I don't have personal experience of. This does not mean, of course, that I own every cat picture, art print or poster that you will find on this site. That might be nice but I would need more wall space than Buckingham Palace! It does mean that I have personal experience of ordering from the merchants, and in some cases extensive experience. The fantastic staff of Best-Cat-Art.com
"Who is behind this site?" Well that's me the 'old fella' in the photo. Color photography had not been invented when that picture was taken! The theory says that publishing your photograph on your web site helps people to trust you. That's the theory. I'm not so sure that my dial will not send visitors running! Hey, come back...Am I some sort of cat expert? No. I am not a cat psychologist, a cat breeder or anything, I'm just an ordinary Joe who loves cats. I also love cat art. Cat art posters, cat art prints, cat figurines, anything cat - bring it on. I live in London England, and have done all my years. I was born not long after WW2, which makes me pretty ancient. For several years I thought of computers and the Internet as some sort of electronic voodoo, scared of them I guess. But eventually I had to catch up with modern things, got myself a 'puter and a connection to the 'net, and have been hooked ever after. I work full time for da boss, and spend most of my free time maintaining and adding to www.best-cat-art.com . The rest of my time I like to spend with my two lovely grandchildren, Jacob and Samantha, - Update. "So, where are the pictures of your cats?" That is a natural question to ask, you would think that the owner of a web site about cats would publish a photo or two of his own cats. Alas, the sad truth is... ...I am not owned by any cats at the present time. When I lost my last cat Basil, I decided not to share my home with any more felines until I am in the position to move to somewhere more suitable. My present flat (apartment) is on a busy one way street, with a huge volume of traffic, not good for cats. Basil lost a leg to that traffic, but that did not teach him to stay away from it, and eventually the worst happened. Lovable little Basil was an outdoor cat and I'm convinced that he would not have been happy kept indoors even after he lost his leg. I will publish a page about 'Basil the brave' and his three legged antics, it may be that it is online by the time that you are reading this, if not check back. - Page now added Basil I could share my home with an indoor cat, but... ...I am away from my home for more hours than I am in it, would that be fair to the cat? There are different views on this, but I would not be happy to lock a cat up on her own for most of the time. Cats may be independent creatures but they do like company, just like us humans! Not having the privilege of a cat's company makes me appreciate cat art all the more. All the cat art in the world does not compensate for the absence of a cat, but cat pictures and cat art around the place are no bad thing.
