Condo Cat - The Turf Ninga.

by Jerry Hughes
(Las Vegas,NV)

Never did I know what I was getting myself into. Less than six months old and abandoned twice. I,m a good guy and I didn't mind helping. But it got real deep real fast.

She finally had a home, a real good home. And she poured out so much love and affection to me that she soon endeared herself to being my best friend,a best friend I never expected to have.

She's a torbie mackerel with a heavy orange undercoat and an attitude that suggests a lady of great bearing. So gentle and loving yet she is a turf ninja. Abandoned twice as a young girl, now at two years she has a good home and any condo cat in the neighborhood knows to stay away from alligator lips.

Like a small child you wish to and need to spend say an hour a day one on one with, her respect demands this same time. I've had cats before but they were cats, just cats. This one has cast herself as a family member.

Abandoned cat

That is very good of you to take in an abandoned cat. Cats know when you are being good to them that is why she is giving you her loving.

A best friend.

Hi Jerry,

Didn't know what you were letting yourself in for? No, we rarely do when we take on the company, and responsibility for, a cat :0)

But along with all the little problems and the bit of work involved we are rewarded with all the joy. And the rewards can be great, after all, you got yourself "a best friend I never expected to have." That's fantastic.

And Condo Cat has been rewarded too, with love, care and a real good home.

Thank you Jerry for sharing with us about your best friend.
