Confused HELP!!!!!

Tonight I went out into my garden there was two perfect specimens of pure black cats, on the fence together, one of them walked along the row of fences with ease, then meowed at me, I reached up and the cat leaned down towards me and petted my hand, I said goodnight and went in.

I went back out 5 minutes later and they had gone.

Any suggestions on this as, i believe black cats are lucky, to have two in my garden,what does this mean.

thanks for your reply, just needed to clarify the incident, as yes id like to think it means after a turbulent few years on and off that it was a good sign, id read that if someone had passed over that they could come back in the sighting of a black cat, which is interesting as id asked for the angels to send me a sign, of seeing white cats, which apparently is Bad luck, perhaps a sense of humour is being shown by the powers above, and to have some luck in my life would be rather nice after such uncertainty in my life, i love cats, and have an infinity with most cats, they seem to like me.

So if comfort can be drawn from the felines then i can only be beneficial.

I'd say that if you believe black cats to be lucky, then they are. :-)

So if you had two pay you a visit, then you have double luck, and that can only be good. :-)
