Dina
(British Columbia, Canada)
Well last June my moms cat had kittens and I came home after a trip that same day of the birth.
Looking down at the five of them a frisky black one just wouldn't stop kicking and pushing the other ones. After picking up all of them when it came to her she was silent and didn't meow at all.
Weeks went by and her stripes appeared and remained the most relaxed of all falling asleep on me. I had to not become attached so i stopped visiting her so often. Also, I never liked tabbies very much convinced they were just common and didn't have the personality I wanted. I was wrong. Dina(named after the kitten in Alice in Wonderland) was just what I needed.
I took her in she is so sweet and beautiful. I believe that cats come to you when you need them. They find you and you can't just pick a random one, it will stand out.
