Don't Fence Me In!

You lookin' at me?

You lookin' at me?

Last weekend we went to the home of my nephew and his wife for a family get together and a barbecue in their garden. My brother and his wife were there too and they had brought along their Jack Russell terrier.

When we were more or less finished eating, I noticed that we were being watched.

Perched comfortably on the top of the wooden panel fence was a rather fine specimen of black and white cat. It sat there for a long time watching the dog moving around in the garden, with a rather superior expression on its face.

I asked my nephew who the cat belonged to but he didn't know. I took a picture of it because I know that you always enjoy a nice cat picture.

Being watched by a cat.
by: Larry (Editor)

Hi Lesley,

It's good to hear from you. Yes I do enjoy a good cat picture and the fence sitting cat is a fine one. With those markings he could be a distant cousin of my Mr Robin.

You picked a great weekend for your family barbecue, just the weather for eating outdoors . . . and being watched by a cat.

All the best,
Larry.
