Griffen and Fiona

I am lucky! As a first time cat owner, I adopted both from the Humane Society in DC and they are such good kitties. Both 1 1/2, they get along well together now, after about 1 1/2 months of *testing* each other.

Grif is an American short hair and I've had him since September. A sweet, lug of a guy who likes to play a little rough and tumble. Totally trusting, he flips over on his back for a good tummy rub whenever I want to love him up a bit. He loves to eat!

He's patient with Fiona, my princess. She's a black, part Burmese with golden eyes. I've had her just over 1 1/2 months now She's sweet, loving and often my shadow. She's curious about whatever I'm doing. When I do yoga, she's right there in between the spaces and licking my hands and arms. If I'm filling the dishwasher, she's there watching every move. She get's testy still with Grif when he plays too hard - she can be a bit impatient.

Griffen is definitely alpha although a gentleman as he shared the litterbox when Fifi joined us. Fifi takes care of herself though and I trust them every day to be good to each other as I leave them for the work day.
