How Kitty Grumbles picked me

Kitty Grumbles is a lovely sable Burmese cat. I went to a local cat show and fell in love with this very thin energetic bundle of love.

She was a year old and I couldn't help but want her. She paced around for 3 weeks crying for her kittens and dog friend. I changed her name to Kitty Grumbles and she responded to it right away.

She likes to sleep on top of my ribs and has a 6 bowl "kibble buffet." We go for walks on collar and leash and she loves it when people stop to admire or pet her. I felt that she needed a cat companion and went to the next cat show. There I saw a photo of a beautiful silver color cat and bought her right away from Claire and Carol Lamontangue of Gizmo Cattery, Quebec.

They really cared about how their retired breeding females went to be re-homed and Miskena became best friends with Kitty Grumbles. Miskena is a blue Burmese and with ever such an affectionate nature. She also will go out for a walk on collar and leash.

Kitty Grumbles is spokeskitty and lets me know when to walk her and where we will go. I cannot resist the staring eyes and soft whisper noise when she wants out. These two wee girls have their piece of my heart also and never, ever get in trouble as I let my cats be cats and try to fit into their world instead of making them live by human rules.

Miskena yells loudly as she is playing with her toy and she only gets love and kisses...not scolded. If it is 3 am or 3 pm...doesn't matter. My babies are spoiled and return I get very happy cats and a love as big as the sky.

The Midnight Stroll

I took my love, Kitty Grumbles, out for a midnight stroll. She was very happy to be out in the dark, cool night. She is an extremely intelligent cat and I know that she would follow me without her long leash, but it makes her feel that she is taking me so that makes both of us purr with pleasure.

We went for about 25 minutes and a lady coming out of her house asked if I would wait a minute. She quickly returned with an orange female tabby cat on a leash. Kitty Grumbles ran up wanting to be friends with Molly but Molly was a bit scared. However, she soon got used to Molly and we walked about 15 minutes when I thought that we should go home. Kitty Grumbles didn't agree and kept calling back for them to follow her. She is a very sociable cat. She is lying here on her cat house purring...she is always happy when I am thinking of her and she purrs me to sleep.

Kitty Grumbles has a beautiful blue Burmese lady cat who shares her life and love. Kitty Grumbles is a sable Burmese. Kitty Grumbles has such a charming personality and wants to be friends with dogs, cats, people...she once jumped into a lady's car and curled up on the passenger side as if to say, "Hop in Mum, let's go for a ride."
The lady had stopped to admire her and loved that Kitty Grumbles did that.

Both of my wee precious babes are microchipped just in case. I never clip their claws and Kitty Grumbles has an impressive set which click as they cross the floor. She grooms and cleans them every day and she is very proud of them and likes me to admire them. I have a special voice just for her and I say, "Claws in paws, claws in paws" while she purrs with delight.

Kitty Grumbles is a very affectionate cat but likes to stay on her own 4 feet. She is very comfortable sitting or lying on top of me. When my precious Cinnamon died a year after Kitty Grumbles came to live with us, Kitty Grumbles stayed sitting on me for over an hour while I held Cinnamon and cried. That was the very first time that she had sat on me. She knew that I needed her and she was there for me.

When I hurt my ribs in a fall, she lay down on them...but only on the sore side. She was keeping them warm for me. She is a dark chocolate brown with milk chocolate highlights and the glossiest fur I have ever seen. She lets me pick her up now but prefers to climb up on me herself. I moved her favorite cat condo beside my desk so that she can be close to me during the day. hER WAY OF THANKS IS SOFT MURR AND A HEAD BUT.

I enjoyed your story of your cats, it must be difficult taking 2 cats for a walk. I agree that grumbles is a suitable name for a ct.
