Thank goodness that he does not do it constantly or even regularly, just when the mood takes him.
There does not seem a way to break him out of his noise making. I'm convinced that he does not do it to get attention, he is pretty good at that without his howling. He has been to the vet and been altered.
The devil gets in him and he wails away. It makes me want to leave the house!
