I have to ask a question. Why have a birdhouse when you have a cat?
Before you mark me off as being a cat hater let me tell you I am not. I do not own a cat but I do like them as I like all animals. The thing is I like wild birds too and it strikes me as curious to put a bird house in your garden to attract wild birds when you have a cat loose.
To those who say cats rarely catch birds I say the fact is many birds are destroyed by domestic cats.
I get it that the picture is meant as humor. But please, enjoy your cats, great pets, but please give a thought to wild birds, we all surely would regret if they were gone.

he looks like he will rocket out of there at warp speed if birds land in your yard. my sassy cat used climb up to the roof because he knew the birds go up there. of course they did not go on the roof when he was there so he never did once catch any. once he rolled off ! did not hurt himself and still went up there again.

Your cat knows where it is the birds go so he has put himself there. Like putting himself in the stream to catch a fish.

Yes he (?) is determined alright. But I don't think that too many birds will land in your garden with that handsome fellow in the birdhouse.
Which is just as well, a bird may be a tasty snack for a determined cat but we don't want to deprive the world of our feathered friends do we.
