Monkee

Monkee

A year ago my friend got a kitten and she had such nice personality that I knew I had to get one of my own.

Just before Christmas I was in a position to get one and so I got Monkee.

I am a first time cat owner and she is such a loving cat who puts up with me learning as I go.

The information on this site has been most useful and prepared me for what was in store so thank you everyone who posts.

Kittens can be little monkeys and no mistake but they are such fun and joy to have.:) You have a lovely tabby kitten.

You always learn with cats.
by: N. Neal

You always have to learn with cats, that's true if you have had lots of cats or never had one before.

They have lots to teach us as I expect you are finding out.

Monkee must have grown some by now but the bet is that she is just as cute.

A beautiful young tabby.
by: Larry (Editor)

Hi Shaf,

What a beautiful young tabby Monkee is, beautifully photographed too.

I'm sure that Monkee forgives you learning (she looks very well cared for so you must have learned a lot,) all she wants from you is love and it's obvious that you give her that.

Very glad that you are finding this site useful and hope that you continue to enjoy it.

Thank you very much for sharing Monkee with us.

Update: Monkee has grown quite a bit and is still a beautiful tabby cat. Shaf shares some wonderful photos of her here - Monkee

I'm called Monkee for a reason!

I'm an indoor cat but that doesn't mean I can't window shop
Just doing my daily yoga
I own all the land I see before me

Monkee is now about a year and a half; she made her debut here http://www.best-cat-art.com/introducing-monkee-special-tabby-cat.html and she is growing up quite nicely.

Ninja monkey cat
by: Katy

Haha she reminds me of a cat who I knew called Sophie Mercat who also used to climb on the top of doors and even lay in a similar position to your Monkey cat. I advise you not to let her wander because cats with this much daring and curiosity can get into dangerous escapades outside. You need to build her a nice playpen in the garden where she can do her monkey tricks safely. She is obviously part oriental from her shape and I bet she talks to you. Thanks for sharing it made me smile to see your pictures.

Looking at birds.
by: Jobaputra

I am liking your Monkee on top of the door it is a very good pose. I am guessing she was looking out of the window at birds, she would like to get at them. :)

Monkee is still sweet now she has grown.

Still as gorgeous.
by: Larry (Editor)

Hi Shaf,

Thank you very much indeed for posting the four new photos of Monkee.

Wow. She is still as gorgeous as she was she was as a kitten and it looks like she is a loveable little handful of mischief :0)

I did get your email asking how you could upload more pictures of Monkee. I responded but I think you may not have received it. This does happen sometimes because my outgoing email address is different than the email address for the contact form.

But I'm very glad that you have shared these photos of your cute tabby anyway.
