Lawnmower Kitty

My grandfather was just about to mow his field, when he got a funny feeling. Something told him to look under the blade, and when he did, he found this tiny gray kitten. She only had be a few days old; her mother had abandoned her.
He called my mom, and told her how he'd found a little kitten, and if we might want her. My mom told him that since I'd be coming to their house in a couple days, I could "check her out." She didn't tell me about the kitten; she left that a surprise.
When I went to my grandparents' house, my Granddad told me to come to the back room. When I did, he lifted up this small cooler with a big towel at the bottom of it. There, all curled up, was the kitten that would become my pride, joy, and life.
My cousins had already named her Fluffy, because she was a little furball, with a slightly flat face.
My mom let me bring her home, at the end of the weekend.
Because she was a newborn, my mom had to take Fluffy to work with her, so she could bottle-feed her. Her boss didn't mind, but told her to keep Fluffy in her office.
Today, Fluffy is six years old, and my best friend. She doesn't have a flat face, but she still is my little furball! =)
