Lucky Black and White Cat.

Hello,
A long time ago somebody told me that black cats were often the last to be chosen from the RSPCA and rescue centers. I have always wondered why because they are beautiful animals and said to be lucky.
It never entered my mind that some people think black cats are unlucky and I’m guessing that could be the reason that some people are reluctant to adopt them.
My own lucky cat is unusual in that she is not a black cat, but a black and white cat. Her name is Paula and I took her on from Margaret an elderly lady that lived next door. Margaret became badly crippled by arthritis and so went to live with her daughter, sadly Paula could not go with her. Margaret’s daughter did promise to bring her back to visit Paula but so far this has only happened once.
Margaret insisted that all black and white cats are lucky and that Paula is no exception. Well I think that I am very lucky to have Paula she is a joy to have around the place, she is so sweet natured and also gives me a lot of laughs. So that is at least two people in this world that think black and white cats are lucky, watch out you lucky black cats you have competition.
