Lucky Cats

For the last 3 months myself and my partner have been looking out for a stray black female around our home, feeding her and looking out for fleas or any injuries.
She has been a very friendly cat and always put up with our young toddlers wandering up to her for a quick stroke when she's enjoying a meal outside.
Today we have had the pleasure of bringing her and her 3 jet black kittens, born outside in the undergrowth only 24hrs ago, into our home. It is now so cold in the evenings and early mornings it was unfair to leave them out to fend for themselves so bringing them all in was an absolute joy.
They have settled into their room well and are so very tiny but amazingly healthy.
I feel they are extremely lucky to have come across our path, they are going to be loved and looked after by our family until the time comes to re-home the kittens and return the mother to her outside life. (with the option of coming back into our home if she wishes of course)
I cannot wait to watch them grow and find them all a loving home off the streets.
