Maggie took in at about 3 months old Aug 2014

Of the whole complex,I have the safest apartment for stray cats, no noise, few people, and away from the forest.

One rainy night, a mama cat and her 4 kittens came crying to my porch. 2 of the kittens were run over by cars, one was taken in. The mama cat was very anorexic and left Maggie, runt of litter so I took her in when she was about 3 months.

She is extremely playful. Even at her age, she runs to the window, splats her paw against it, moves her head side to side, turns in a circle, and does it again.

She has a way of telling me she wants to play with her Neko fly. Maggie gives a loud meow then runs in the living room and sits by the closet where the toy is.

Oh, I forgot to mention a game she made up when Maggie was 3 months. She pushes a bottle cap under the door and tries to get it with her paw. If not, Maggie goes to the other side and does it again!

Maggie is too playful
by: Anonymous

Her being playful has caused a problem with my 2 yr old cat,Peaches.Maggie surprises Peaches, chases her around, and even tries to play with her when she's using the litter box!Maggie won't stop even though Peaches does alot of growling. Then Peaches hides in the corner and pouts!I have a 13 yr old that does absolutely nothing but eat, sleep, and usually litter box.

Will Not play now
by: Anonymous

It is nice when a cat is playful. My cat is an old lady now so she don't move much at all, mostly sleeps. she was always wanting to play and run around when younger. She has been good, I had her for many years now so I don't mind that she don't do much.

Great that she is playful
by: Larry (editor)

Hi Laura,

Thank you very much for sharing your photos of Maggie and her story with us. Maggie is a lovely cat and it's great that she is playful.

Oh yes, any small object that slides along the floor will keep a cat amused :) And they do like to bat it under doors don't they.

Thanks once again for sharing Laura and may you and Maggie enjoy each others company for many years to come.
