Maloose Pashmaloo

by Harriet
(UK)

My stray came to live with me 5 years ago. He is a beautiful black cat with long soft fur and green eyes.

Ever since we adopted it, he gave us gifts of rats and little birds that he patiently caught.

He is so observant on how we opened doors, turned the knob of the cat flap, opened the fridge, etc. In no time he responded to commands such as `Go to the kitchen', `up on the sill' and `come here'. He even follows us to the bus stops. I used to be superstitious about black cats crossing my path, etc. but I fear no more.

There are logical reasons for each thing that happens whether good or bad. Maloose has a lot of friends in facebook and he is adorable.

Gifts of prey.

Hi Harriet,

Maloose does indeed sound like a beautiful black cat. And he sounds very intelligent, opening the fridge etc.

His little gifts of prey show that he loves you.

"There are logical reasons for each thing that happens whether good or bad."

That's very true.

Thank you very much indeed for sharing your story with us.
