Mi amigo Mimi

I adopted my beautiful gray cat with glowing green yellow eyes, Mimi, when she was two years old.

I took her into my home from my bosses friend who had too many pets already, and when she came to me she was thin and had ear mites. I loved her the moment I met her, she is playful and friendly, agile and small and never short on kisses. My only stipulations when getting my own cat was too get a female to avoid spraying and to get a short haired to avoid the constant lint rolling action the accompanies cats.

I have had Mimi now for a year and a half and she has enriched my daily living more than I could ever say. To wake up with her every morning and have her follow me around as I make my coffee and breakfast to cuddling with me at night as I fall asleep she is just always there with me.

If anyone is wondering whether adopting an older cat is a bad idea, then let this be some proof that adopting older and saving a cats life is more worth it than you can know. Hope you all enjoy your cat company as much as I do:)
