Misty

Misty

Well we have 4 cats in all, but misty is the baby lol he is sweet, and a big pain at times-but he makes us laugh : )

He gets into all kinds of things like when i take a bath he jumps up the side of the bath and plays with the bubbles, rips up papers, tries to brake into my green house knocks on my bedroom door each morning telling me its his food time.

He runs around with the others all day and almost trips me up lol but i love all my cats, and wouldn't want to be with out em!

Bubbles
by: Vicky

Your cat is such a cutie. My cat loves bubbles too and loves to chase them. I got a kids bubble blower thing for him and it keeps him amused stalking the bubs, he doesn't know which one to go for first. The game keeps me amused too :)

My cat wants me to get up.
by: Anonymous

My cat doesn't knock but scratches at my bedroom door at whatever time she decides that I should be awake at out of my bed.

She does not want feeding, she just want's me out of bed. As soon as I am awake and dressed she slopes off to one of her comfortable places and goes to sleep!

I should sleep with ear plugs!

Sweet Misty.
by: Larry (editor)

Hi Wanda,

Oh yes, Misty is a sweet looking fellow alright.

When it comes to feeding time, cats are not slow in letting you know are they, I think their tummy clocks never let them down :0)

With four cats running around, you must have a fun ( and hectic) time.

Thank you very much indeed for sharing Misty's photo and story with us.

McGee the underhood phsyco rider

by Johnny Sekula
(Cocoa Florida)

McGEE chose us new years eve 2010 he found his way under our hood of our car and nestled on top of our battery and took a ride all the way home with us.

Upon arrival at our residence our dogs greeted us as usual paying particular attention to the forward underneath area of the car.I was thinking the worst as I've heard of animals climbing into engine compartments to stay warm and parish at engine start so i'm thinking I'm going to find a gruesome scene under my hood.

Slowly I open the hood and like a "jack in the box" out pops McGee pissed and darts across the lawn with my two dogs in hot pursuit, then he stops ,turns and jumps on the back of my largest dog Bella and starts to bite and scratch and then run in circles...weird.

After settling the little psycho down and cleaning up his fur with a bath I dressed some minor wounds and scratches he obtained under the hood named him McGee after my wife's favorite song bobby McGee (Joplin)he turned out to be a good kitty, well adjusted little timid but cool, we love him.

All our animals are rescued 2 dogs and 3 cats in our opinion rescued make the best companions.Rescue one today!

Jack in the box.
by: Larry (Editor)

Hi Johnny,

Thank goodness McGee was not seriously injured, or worse after his journey. You are quite right, many a cat has come to a sticky end after seeking out the heat under a car's hood.

It must have been a terrifying ride for him, no wonder he acted a little psycho when you let him out :0)

Congratulations, the "jack in the box" turned out to be a great new pet for you.

Oh yes, rescue animals do make fabulous pets. In my opinion, the shelter is the first place anyone seeking a pet should try . . . find a great pet and save a life.

Thank you very much Johnny, for sharing your story of the "underhood phsyco rider" with us.
