My Favorite Little Black Kitty!

In June, my 15 year old dachshund was put down. I was devastated and cried myself to sleep every night. Exactly a month after he died, my family was at my grandfathers house.

My aunt went outside to get something from her car and she heard loud meowing. She thought it was in the woods, so she came running inside and told us what she had heard. We all ran outside, and heard the meowing. We all were panicking because the meowing sounded as if the cat was.

We looked in the woods but there wasn't a cat there, we found out that the cat was in the old wellhouse. We thought it was stuck.

The weather for the next day was expected to be in the 90s, so we were afraid that the cat was going to die. We tried to get the kitten out that night but we couldn't. Bright and early the next morning, all of us got up and went back down to my grandfather's house. We found a little, little, little small ball of black fur curled up with the bluest eyes you have ever seen!

We put him in a little box. He hissed and meowed. We took him home and he continued to hiss and meow at us! By the 3rd day that we had had him, he became so sweet and cuddly. We all became attached to him. He is now 4 months old and is my favorite black kitty! He is so sweet now and I am glad to have him!
