The Other Half

We adopted Patches when we adopted Princess. Even though we had planned to only get one kitten, I couldn't separate him from his sister.

As told in the previous story about Princess, we adopted these two right after we had to put BeeBee to sleep, whose photo and story are here also. My wife has had a cat around her all of her life and I have had cats in my life pretty often.

We have been married going on 18 years and have had at least one cat with us at any given time during the 18 years. The most we had with us at one time were thirteen. I personally love cats over dogs, because they are so independent, they do have a mind of their own. And I must admit, cats are less of a problem than dogs are. I do like dogs also, just prefer cats.

And we also have Pumpkin, he too has his photo and story here at Best-Cat-Art. He is the kitten and also the terror. He has gotten into a lot of trouble but is nearing the age that he will be settled down soon.

In all, we have three cats now and love all three as if they were children. They are our children to us. All three have provided us with a lot of fun and laughter as well as joy and love. To us, they are priceless.
