Roger the Kitten with Princess.

Princess the dog is very friendly with humans, but not usually very friendly with other animals. Her motto might be “ Two legs good, four legs bad.”

When we brought Marble, who was then a kitten, home we were a little hesitant about how Princess would take to the new member of the household. We need not have worried. From the start the dog and cat were the best of friends and Princess treated Marble like the kitten was her puppy!

And now Marble has kittens of her own. Princess treats the new little ones with respect too. In the picture above she is sharing her bed with newborn Roger.

Ha ha, that's a terrific photo!

I just know that Princess is going to fuss around the new kittens just as if they were her own. But she does seem to be thinking "Where the heck am I supposed to sleep?"
