Play dead!

This is Little Miss Kitty. She is almost 2 and her favorite thing to do is lay on her back and play dead. She will wait until one of us comes up and rubs her belly with our foot and try to "revive" her. When she is fed up with the rubbing she will nip your ankle and then take off running.

how can you teach a cat to play dead??
just push him down and say bang al the time and give some treats ??

Our cat does the same trick! Pickles plays dead anywhere, on the counter, on the table, on the bed.

We are all used to it and take no notice of him (show off!) But if we don't warn visitors in advance they get a shock, which the darn cat enjoys.
