Hi Roger,

Œdipoes is a lovely cat, as is Poeskine.

I particularly like your silhouette image but all of them are good, nice photography.

Thank you very much indeed for your submission.

Difficult to hide
by: Larry (Editor)

Hi Roger,

It's very difficult for a black cat to hide in front of a white background - but Poeskine is doing a good job of it. :0)

A very nice image of a very nice cat, as are the images on your post here Œdipoes

Thank you very much for your submissions.

The Stink Bomb

by Sherene Juantuah
(United Kindom, wembley)

Daisy my cat, is the most cutest thing in the world to me. She is a little playful kitten. But the one thing that put's me off her is her farts.

I can honestly say that daisy's farts are the most disgusting. I'm telling you, if you see her one day don't be fooled by her cute little face, because you wouldn't know what's on the other side.

Thanks for the warning! :0)

Hi Sherene,

Thanks for telling us about Daisy your black cat, and thanks for the warning! :0)

But I'm sure that her gas is not too bad, and as you say she is the cutest of cats I'm sure that she makes up for it.

A little gas in cats is usually harmless, it sometimes can be a sign of something serious though.

Black Cats in my drive way and on the car roof.

by sue
(Kissimmee, FL)

My son came home from work on Setember 9th at 11:45pm stated there were about 10 cats in the driveway, some under the car and on the roof of his dads car, so he chased them away.

Last night I left my car in the driveway my daughter-in-law came in and she told me the big fat black cat was sitting on the roof of my car at 9:30pm

What does that mean?

Many cats love to perch on car roofs.
by: Larry (Editor)

Hi Sue,

I wouldn't worry about the group of cats. Who knows why they were there. A female in heat and a collection of tomcats perhaps. Or maybe a feral colony.

The lone cat on your car roof is nothing sinister. Many cats love to perch on car roofs, it's a nice high place for them to look down on their rivals, gives them a bit of status. The fact that it was a black cat makes no difference at all.

Thank you very much for your submission.

The Dissappearing Cat.

by Adeline Melody

Having a black cat, is a wonderful allowance. He is very lovable, but mysterious. One night, i had my cat on my lap, researching at my computer, and then he jumped off my lap.

I shrugged and shrinked my tabs, i decided to follow him, since it was midnight on a Friday. I had no school the next day, so i watched him Pass up his water and food bowl, and vanish outside my back door.

I snatched up my flashlight and before i even had the chance to turn it on when i saw a man with black hair and gold eyes shape from my cat!! He was in black trousers and his black hair fell around his eyes, like my cat's does! I was amazed to even see the black leather collar with a single silver bell attached, still around the man's neck. He jumped off my porch and vanished in the night! I thought i was hallucinating, and that morning around Six, he waded back in.

Nothing different, till that night. It happened again, and again and again! Every night, my cat turns into a man, and runs of. I think he may be a witch of sort, but i still adore him with all my heart.

Black Cat, a bit mysterious.
by: Larry (Editor)

Hi Adeline,

Yes it's true, black cats are lovable and wonderful, and also sometimes a bit mysterious.

And cats, black or not, have the habit of disappearing now and then.

As for a cat turning into a man, well I think I would freak out if my Mr Robin did that. He does quite often turn into a little devil though, but I still love him. :0)

Thank you very much for sharing your black cat story with us.
