In the year 2004 I had a 19 year old tortie and a 6 year old tabby both females the tabby was poisoned and 2 months later the tortie had to be euthanised..a neighbour had a cat that I used to pet all the time..she decided to move out and when she left took the cat with her got her dog back and decide she didn't want the cat any more dumped her on my doortstep Christmas eve after I mentioned to another neighbour I would take her.

The funny thing is she has a white body with tortie markings and tabby patches on her face..that was 6 years ago I still have she is now 10 and part of the family.

Hi Robyn,

So your neighbor just dumped Bessie on your doorstep without knowing that she would be looked after. Some people do not deserve to be on the same planet as animals!

Anyway, what a splendid girl Bessie is. Unusual markings yes, but a magnificent coat. you are lucky that she chose you ;0)
