My Shelter Kitty

We recently rescued Mr. Meowser from the SPCA. He's our first kitty as a married couple. I grew up with cats so it's great to have one in the family again.

He's the cutest little brown ticked tabby. He's a shy little kitty and still runs from us sometimes, but he's warming up and has the best personality.

The best cats.
by: Tony B.

Mr. Meowser is a smart looking kitty I love your pics.

I always find rescue cats to be the best. We have had several and none have ever been any sort of problem. Rescue cats seem to know that you picked them and give you more love in return, at least that is what I have found.

A brilliant name.
by: Larry (Editor)

Hi Jenn,

Good for you for rescuing Mr. Meowser from the shelter. What a brilliant name that is, and what a handsome little chap.

Mr. Meowser will soon settle in. Coming from a shelter where, no doubt, there was a lot of hubbub most of the time is bound to make a cat a little wary of people.

Thank you very much for sharing your story and wonderful photos with us.

Boo
by: E O'Neill

Aww thank you, you're right she has already stolen our hearts, and any one who meets her. She goes out on her harness to the shops and to school, this helps to socialize her & every one is amazed how friendly she is.

Boo is gorgeous.
by: Larry (Editor)

Hello,

If Boo doesn't become a breeding queen I'll bet that the little darling will become the queen of hearts - she'll win lots of those. Boo is gorgeous.

Bengals certainly are "living room leopards."

Thank you very much indeed for sharing Boo's photo with us.

Jack Russell and Cat
by: Anonymous

It has been three years but we still miss dear J.R. our Jack Russell and Harpo our cat so, so much.

J.R. was a terror, we had to shut him in a room on his own when we had company and out walking he would have a fit if he saw another animal, dog, cow, cat or horse!

Bur Harpo and him really were brothers, inseparable. They even laid down to sleep together. J.R. would have given his life to protect Harpo.

Terrorising Jack Russells
by: Anonymous

It's been my experience that cats are very good at keeping Jack Russells in order.

When I was a child we had a very nice black and white cat who also terrorised our Jack Russell.

From time to time, Patch the cat would walk up to Dandy the dog when he was just lying down minding his own business. Patch would then just swipe her claws across Dandy's nose, just to keep him in his place and remind him that she was still the boss around here.

The poor dog made sure that he gave the cat a wide berth and just concentrated on being a good farm dog instead.

A very pleasant surprise.
by: Larry (Editor)

Hi Lesley,

I would guess that it takes quite a lot to terrorize a Jack Russel, which begs the question - "what exactly were you feeding the little fellow from that bottle?" :0)

Ahh but he is a cute one, must have been a very pleasant surprise finding him in your cupboard.

Thank you very much indeed for sharing his photo with us.

Together Forever

This is a pic of my son Tommy, he is really growing up. He has chosen my daughter, Molly, Siberian husky/chow , to be his girl. When ever they nap, they have to be on each other, or it just is not the same.

Getting on together.
by: Anonymous

They have got their heads together, lol.

It is amazing how well a cat and a dog will get along with each other when they share the same living space. Makes sense really. You have two nice looking pets.

My Kitten Bella Rose

My Baby Bella Rose

My Baby Bella Rose

She is the sweetest Kitten I have ever gotten. She likes to sleep with me, clean with me, take showers with me. She tries to help fold laundry...but that never works out. Just gives me double the work. She is loved by all that see her. And she is our special Kitten!

Showers
by: April

Hah! your cat takes a shower with you! I thought that my cat was the only cat that did that, not take a shower with you of course, but with me :-)

And cats are supposed to hate water so much I was thinking that my little man is strange, but yours does it too. He wont get in if the water is fierce or hot, but in the summer when the shower is cool and gentle he loves to get in there with me.

Bella Rose is pretty.

Little kitten honey.
by: Anonymous

Your kitten is a honey, such a sweet expression on her little face. My cat sleeps with me and has done since she too was a tiny little one. Winter nights she keeps me so warm, I can't stop her getting in the bed, not that I want too!

Bella Rose sure is a cute one.
by: Larry (Editor)

Hi Daisy,

Bella Rose sure is a cute one, thank you very much for sharing her photograph with us.

Help fold the laundry? A kitten or cat that did that would certainly be helpful :0)

But I know how it is, you spread the laundry out to fold it, and it is just too big a temptation for a little kitten, they have to pounce on it.
