by SHELIA SCOTT
Yes today is Friday the 13 i was at work driving suddenly a black cat cross my path. Need i remind you that all my life i was told that a black cat cross right to left is bad luck then if it cross you left to right is good luck and always i believe that.
So now i'm grown it took a while to get over that fear now i feel there's no such thing as bad luck or good luck. Because what people calls good luck i call a blessing, and what they call bad luck i say there is no one stronger than GOD.

Well Spooky story, began when I wanted a friend for Demon,I posted that I was looking for a black kitten on the web and this lady email me saying, she had 8 solid black kittens and if I would like to come see them.
So we set a date and time to meet, when we arrive at her home, she let us in and all we saw were black dots running all over the place,I sat on the floor and played with them and I noticed that there only seven kittens, and I ask wasn't there eight kittens and she said oh yes there is and then she went into the kitchen a in her hand was a tiny black ball, she gave it to me and said "this is the runt and she is small and shy,but loves to be loved.
"As soon as look in her eyes I new she was the one. We took her home and we began think of names and my dad ask if we like the name Spooky, since it was in october when we got her,we all agree.
Demon took to her nicely, well Demon loves babys,he accepts them faster then adults.Demon loved to bath her and watch out for her,but we had to take her away from him when he wanted to play with her,she was to small,Demon weighs about 25 pounds and she 2 pounds.
Now our little girl is 12 months and she is a very small cat she only weighs 4 pound s.I found out that she is this way because she is a in bred, and she dose have some defects.
I've always had a black cat
I've always had a black cat. There is even a picture of me as a baby sleeping with a black cat in my crib. No one remembers her name though.
When I was about eight a cat gave birth to two black kittens, Snip and Snap. I wanted original names for them. We kept Snap for four years until she was killed by a car.
Right now I have two black cats, Cosmic Creepers and Bastet. I named Cosmic after a black cat in my favorite Disney movie. I liked Bastet because in Egyptian culture the cat goddess protected a home from evil spirits and diseases.
Even my father has commented on how I have a thing for black cats. Nothing bad has ever happened to me because of these felines.

For the last 3 months myself and my partner have been looking out for a stray black female around our home, feeding her and looking out for fleas or any injuries.
She has been a very friendly cat and always put up with our young toddlers wandering up to her for a quick stroke when she's enjoying a meal outside.
Today we have had the pleasure of bringing her and her 3 jet black kittens, born outside in the undergrowth only 24hrs ago, into our home. It is now so cold in the evenings and early mornings it was unfair to leave them out to fend for themselves so bringing them all in was an absolute joy.
They have settled into their room well and are so very tiny but amazingly healthy.
I feel they are extremely lucky to have come across our path, they are going to be loved and looked after by our family until the time comes to re-home the kittens and return the mother to her outside life. (with the option of coming back into our home if she wishes of course)
I cannot wait to watch them grow and find them all a loving home off the streets.
