Strange or what!

i moved to a house in the country a few months ago, i said to my husband the only animal i wouldn't mind living with us would be a black cat, ( i had this urge to own a black cat)i don't know why.....

a few weeks later we looked out of our window and saw a feral mother and 2 kittens sitting on our garden table, one of the kittens was black, they were in a pitiful state, so i started feeding them, this continued for about 2 months, then only one cat turned up - the black one, his mother and sister never returned.

he now sleeps indoors with our dog,and is one of the family, hes so soft and adorable, this cat was meant to be part of our family, how strange.............

but it was strange to me that sooty came to live with us,
I wished for a black cat, and a feral mother and two kittens turned up in our garden,one kitten was black the other grey & white, I put food down for all of them for over 2 months, they were all treated the same, but what seemed strange to me, was one morning only the black kitten turned up his feral mother and other grey & white kitten never came back, and sooty has been with us ever since, his coat is like velvet so shiny and black, hes turned into a beautiful looking cat, he has never jumped on the furniture, hes so well behaved,we love him........including our old dog.

Was the cat meant to be with you because you always wanted a black cat? Hate me for saying it but no, it was pure coincidence.

The cat was meant to be with you because you would take care of it and it's needs. You are doing that and the best of the world to you. I lovey love black cats but I don't hang no ju ju nonsense on them good or bad.

Hello, Your black cat came to trust you because you were feeding him and now he is part of family, how nice.

It is nice also too that he is friends with your family dog. I am understanding wanting to be with a black cat they are beautiful.
