This is Pez, a charming feral Calico who brought me to her litter when she was cold and ventured inside "the big cave".
She was using the cat door and taught her siblings to do so, but scatted when I came home.
I tricked her by latching the cat door to enter, but not exit, and once captured, she discovered she LOVES getting petted. She now resides with her brother and a cousin on a farm in Chehalis, WA ahere she is employed to keep rodents out of the animal feed.
I don't hear from the farmers anymore, but at last conversation, she rubs against him as he milks the cows, and she loves the warm squirts in the face! She is the daughter of a cat abandoned when an apartment went condo, but now lives happily ever after on a farm far away from the underbelly of the shed she was born under.
