The Little Prince

I got my beloved Pluto from a lady who was giving away kittens. I had wanted a black cat forever, so it was my lucky day when I came across him.

He was the last one left out of three, and he was exactly what I was looking for (not to mention he was free! I don't condone giving animals away, but it worked out quite nicely in this case!). I put him in my jacket and he slept the entire ride home.

When we first brought him home, he refused to eat cat food - dry or wet. The only thing he would eat was deli turkey, so that's what we gave him for the first week or so. Thankfully, he eventually accepted the cat food.

He's grown into quite the dashing young gentleman, and is the apple of my eye. He's very sophisticated and keeps his coat meticulously clean, so much so that there's rarely ever a need to brush him. You'd never know he started out as that little ball of fuzz!

And like I said, he'll eat cat food, but he REALLY likes treats like turkey and steak (and maybe some prime rib once in a while). He pretty much gets whatever he wants.
