THE PRINCESS

Spoiled????

Yes, this is Princess. We adopted her and her brother Patches 6 years 4 months ago. The cat we had before these two (BeeBee), had to be put to sleep. We had BeeBee for a little better than a year, from the day he was born. Losing BeeBee broke my wifes heart for she got extremely attached to him. I did get attached to him also.

So we left the animal hospital and went right to the animal shelter. We had planned on just getting one kitten. When we got there a woman who had just got a kitten said that the litter she got hers from was all the way down at the end. So we went in and started walking toward the end of the cages looking at cats and kittens along the way, but really didn't see anything we wanted.

When we got to the last cage my wife opened the cage door and immediately picked up Princess and just as fast, fell in love with her. She said to me, this is the one, this is the kitten I want.

Looking in the cage and there was Patches looking at us with his sister. I opened the cage door and picked up Patches. My wife said to me, "what are you doing?" I said, "we can't just leave him here all alone, he belongs with his sibling." And needless to say, they have provided us with a lot of love, joy and happiness.
