The slinky

by Tammy

Not again!!

Not again!!

Ducky is our little tortie girl and she does the silliest thing when my daughter plays with her slinky toy, Ducky's tongue flicks out like a snake.

We think it has something to do with the noise it makes, she also does the same thing when packing tape is being used.

Slinky
by: Sal C.

Our cat Fearless Jim goes crazy about a slinky. He doesn't stick out his tongue but jumps at the slinky and bucks just like a horse!

He always seems to be undecided whether to kill the thing or run from it :) love your Ducky's picture.

Unusual.
by: Larry (Editor)

Hi Tammy,

I think that is unusual, at least I don't think I've heard of a cat reacting to certain noises by sticking out it's tongue.

But then it takes all sorts of cats to make a world.

Thanks very much for sharing another great picture of Ducky.

The Foot Lover

by Bridgette Sherene
(Edware)

my cat daisy, is the most craziest cat i've ever known....

The reason for this is that my cat loves feet!!! If she is sitting a room by herself and you just happen to walk in, she dashes to your foot and clings on to it like a tree AAAWWWWWW!!!! It can take years to get her off!!!!

So beware!!! if you see a lovely cute looking tabby cat, don't be fooled because the next thing you know, you will have something clinging onto you foot!!!!!

They will attack
by: Anonymous

All cats are foot lovers or attackers ain't they.

walk near a cat with bear feet and the cat will want to wrestle them you can bet on it yes they will:)

You say it hurt, it sure does. So don't go walking around your cat without your boots on. Otherwise you can bet on what you will get.

I want those feet!
by: Beth

Best to keep your shoes on around cats, they will fight with your feet otherwise! Cats are fun though.

It hurts don't it!
by: Larry (Editor)

Hi Bridgette,

You have my sympathy. My cat also likes to attack my feet, especially when I'm in bed, (hurts don't it!)

In fact it is quite common for cats to act that way. After all, our feet are at just the right level for cats to pounce on. A human's feet look like prey to a cat, can't be resisted.

So your Daisy is only doing what comes naturally, but it still hurts ;0)

Thank you very much for sharing your story with us.

My Cat Lola Being Daft.

by Holly
(England)

My Kitten Lola is very silly sometimes well every night round about 9:30PM to 10:00PM then sometimes in the morning.

We call it a mad half hour. When she has a "Mad Half hour" she knocks over pictures jumps up at the T.V and we have this big glass vase and she pulls that over and one day she was being very silly so we put her out in the hall way and next we heard a screech and a yelp and she had jumped in a mop bucket with BLEACH IN!

But it had water in so she didn't burn her self so she's O.K

Lola is 16 weeks (4 months) on Saturday

This Picture is Lola's breed not exactly her but its a replica of her

Cat goes ape!
by: Anonymous

Lola is such a cute little thing. Our cat used to go ape every evening around that time just before we go to bed. So we started to feed him later and later. It worked, sort of, he would eat and not want to run around like a thing gone wild. We could go to sleep with no problems, but woulsn't you know , he started to run about the place at 1 in the morning! He still does that but we learned to sleep thru it. We know he has gone ape in the night because every thing is tipped upside over when we get up!

Delightful
by: Larry (editor)

Hi Holly,

Thank you very much for telling us all about Lola, she sounds delightful and you must be so happy to have her in your life.

I do hope that Lola really is alright after her mishap with the bleach. I do realize that the bleach was diluted but I hope that she was thoroughly rinsed off afterwards.

We have to be so very, very careful with cats and kittens. It is best not to leave anything around that could possibly harm them. Cat Safety

Anyway, enjoy Lola and her mad half hour. Thanks for sharing with us once again.
