We did not choose Helen.

About 4 years ago my mum’s friend gave her a kitten. My mum did not get to pick from the litter or anything like that so we didn’t exactly choose Helen (our cat).

Sometimes when she is naughty, which is quite a lot really, I think that we should have chosen another cat, especially when she scratches me. She never scratches my sister. But I do know that I love her because I was very upset when we thought that we had lost her I cried. But she was only gone two days and I was very happy when she came back home.

I would choose Helen because she is all right really but I don’t know if I would choose my sister. Well sometimes I suppose.

Hi Nicole,



Thank you for telling us about Helen. Nice to know that you would have chosen your cat anyway even though she sometimes has a few behavioral problems - hey all cats do, remember that cats do not misbehave from their point of view it is just the way that we humans see things.



You do not want your cat scratching you though, this page may help with that -

It must be great to have a sister, although at times I suppose they can be annoying but just like when we do not get to choose our cats we love them anyway!
