Winkle and her straw.

My kitten is Winkle and she is now 5 months old. She was only about 3 months old when this picture was taken. She absolutely goes crazy with straws. She just loves them! When I wiggle a straw at her she will chase it for donkey years!

Straws can be brittle

Winkle is sweet, just the sort of cat to charm her way in to your heart. I looked at her pic and thought that it was upside down at first but I can see now that it isn't :)

I don't want to sound like a school mar'm here but please be careful with straws. I know lots of cats do like to play with them but there can be dangers if you are not careful. It is best not to leave your cat alone with a straw.

The plastic kind can get brittle and it is easy for a cat to chew off a piece, the pieces can be sharp and easily swallowed.

There, that's the lesson over. :) You have a sweet cat!

Awww, Winkle is gorgeous, what a little sweetheart.

In her photo she seems to be saying " Okay, I've had enough chasing for the moment, I'll just lie here and guard the straw till I'm ready to play again."
